1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Convo you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our app.
2. User Accounts
2.1. Account Creation: Users may create an account to access certain features of the app. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
2.2. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Account Deletion
3.1. Request for Deletion: Users have the right to request the deletion of their account at any time. To request deletion, please contact us through the app or contact@convoapp.org. We will process your request promptly in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. User Content
4.1. Prohibited Content: Users agree not to post, upload, publish, submit, or transmit any content that:
Is fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive.
Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive.
Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
Contains spam, advertising, or other commercial solicitations.
Violates any applicable law or regulation.
Users can report any content through the app and the moderation team will review requests within 24 hours. For escalations, the user can also email contact@convoapp.org.
4.2. Content Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the content they provide and the consequences of sharing it on the app. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate at our discretion.
5. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
5.1 No Tolerance Policy: Convo maintains a strict no tolerance policy for any form of objectionable content or abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:
Hate speech, harassment, or threats.
Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
Content that is sexually explicit, obscene, or offensive.
Any form of spam or unwanted solicitation.
5.2 Consequences: Users who engage in posting objectionable content or exhibit abusive behavior will face immediate action, which may include removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination of their account without prior notice.
5.3 Reporting: We encourage users to report any content or behavior that violates these terms by reporting through the app or emailing contact@convoapp.org. We will investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Ownership: All content, features, and functionality of the app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Convo and are protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the app, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
